The Jordan 1 Low OG Neutral Grey brings back the original low-top colorway from 1985. This design combines a pure white leather upper with a suede Swoosh and neutral gray accents on the heel tab. The Air Jordan Wings logo appears on the latter's embellishment. Nike Air branding is visible on the insole and woven tongue label. The Jordan 1 Low OG Neutral Grey features a foam wedge and encapsulated Air Sole cushioning on a rubber cupsole.

The Air Jordan 1 Low debuted in 1985 alongside the Air Jordan 1 High as the first low-top sneaker designed for Jordan. The Air Jordan 1 Low was originally released in several colourways, mirroring the High releases and served as a casual take on the signature high-top. Apart from basketball players, there was another group who immediately took to the AJ1 Low – skateboarders. The skateboarders found that the low-top was more comfortable for tricks.
